With spirulina and chlorella for detoxification, a blend of phytonutrients to support a variety of systems, oat beta-glucans for your immune system, and soluble fiber and prebiotics, this super juice is loaded with things your body needs. When added to your favorite recipes, it can make even dessert a part of your healthy lifestyle.
Caroline’s Healthy Brownie Recipe
To create our healthy brownie recipe, We began with a gluten-free, dairy-free brownie mix called Pamela’s Chocolate Brownie Mix. Pamela’s is a widely available gluten free line we love to use for baking. You can usually find it at Whole Foods or your local grocery or “health nut” store, as well as online through their website:
We used the Fudgiest Brownie Recipe on the back of the label and modified it with applesauce to make it vegan.
1 bag of Pamela’s Brownie Mix
1/3 cup of water
1/2 cup of coconut oil
2 oz of applesauce (substitute for the egg)
2 scoops of Super Juice Blends
Preheat oven to 350°.
Using a fork, slowly mix the water and coconut oil into the brownie mix, then add the applesauce, and Super Juice.
Bake for about 18 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clear.
And that’s it! They turned out wonderfully, and were a big hit with the kids. These vegan applesauce brownies are a great addition to your holiday baking, and an easy and fun way to add more nutrients – and chocolate – to your life.
